Neck Deep Tattoo Artist Openings
Neck Deep Tattoo is currently looking for one experienced tattoo artist to join our crew full time. We also have opportunities for visiting artists if you are a Tattoo Artist who wants to go on a working vacation to Oahu, Hawaii.
Neck Deep Tattoo has an excellent reputation for providing awesome tattoos and having a chill atmosphere. We even won an award for Best Tattoo Shop in Kaneohe 2023! We have a talented crew of male and female tattoo artists and apprentices that are skilled in a wide variety of tattoo style so we can handle pretty much whatever clients want, including creating custom original tattoo art. We also have a client experience manager that helps to make sure everything runs smoothly. We treat each other respectfully, like an Ohana. We have a 0 tolerance policy for drama, bullying and hazing.
Neck Deep Tattoo is open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 1pm to 7pm, Friday and Saturday 1pm to 8pm. The shop is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The tattoo artists in the shop use rotary Cheyenne tattoo machines. Tattoo Artists do not pay rent or pay for any supplies. The shop provides all Cheyenne compatible needles, ink, and other tattoo supplies. Tattoo artists only need to provide their own tattoo machine, power supply and clip cord. Tattoo artists make 40% commission on their tattoos with an opportunity to make an additional 10% on all first time clients you bring into Neck Deep Tattoo.
FULL TIME EXPERIENCED TATTOO ARTISTS EXPECTATIONS
You must have a physical and/or digital portfolio of multiple examples of your tattoo work.
You must have existing clientele and can not depend on walk-ins. You may be given some walk-in but walk-ins are first offered to the shop manager/owner Mike Crinella and then by seniority if Mike is not available.
You must be willing to to use social media to promote your tattoos and attract new clients.
A positive attitude and ability to hustle to get new clients to keep a filled schedule is required.
You must be willing to work the days and hours the shop is open.
You must maintain a minimum of 3 tattoo appointments with a minimum deposit of $50 each week to keep the spot.
You must create original flash sheets for tattoo specials and will be given a bonus when your designs are chosen at the tattoo special.
